Detail: For our next Chaired Encounter event, we welcome Baroness Falkner. 

A cross-bench member of the House of Lords, Baroness Falkner was elected as Chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission in 2020. 

Baroness Falkner had led a distinguished career in politics, most recently serving in the House of Lords as spokesperson for the Liberal Democrats on Home Affairs, Justice and Foreign Affairs, Chair of the EU Sub-Committee on Financial Affairs, and member of the EU Select Committee, Constitution Committee, the Joint Committee on Human Rights; and the Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy.

Baroness Falkner will join us to discuss her career path, her perspectives on effective leadership, and experience of chairing one of the most high profile UK public bodies.
