Chairing a Remote Meeting Effectively: Lessons for crisis & for the future - with Board Intelligence

April 22 2020

12:00-13:00

Pandemic has changed our world and necessitated a shift in everything from governance to style of chairing. But what is the role of a chair in this new world?

In this online seminar, we invite members to discuss with peers how chairs can be most effective on remote boards. We will consider:

- The new etiquette for remote chairing
- The role of agenda planning
- The technology to utilise
- The importance of effective decision making

This will take place via Zoom webinar platform and will be led by Dineshi Ramesh, Director at Board Intelligence.

Dineshi is a specialist in board information and effective meetings – working with boards to help them take smarter, faster decisions that drive their organisations forward, purposefully and responsibly. Dineshi leads Board Intelligence’s consulting arm and Academy, an online learning platform for board members and executives. Prior to BI, she worked as strategy consultant for 20 years and holds an MEng from Imperial College.
